Performance Energy got its start as Marathon Renewable Energy, Inc. We were the first company in the Wausau, WI area to offer complete consultation, design and installation of solar energy systems.
In the fall of 2009 we changed our corporate name to Performance Energy, Inc, to reflect our expansion into home performance and building efficiency. We believe that superior energy performance is attainable only through a thorough assessment of each building’s unique needs.
